Tablecloth Sizes

What size tablecloth do I need?

The size you need depends on the number of chairs or the measurements of your table. Also, do you have any extension? Let us know those details and we'll help you find the right size.

Do you have table toppers?

Yes, in a range of sizes, a nice decorative accent over your table, or layered on top of a larger tablecloth during special family gatherings.

What if my table has a leaf or extension?

If your table includes a leaf or extension, just let us know how often you use it. Based on that, we can guide you either by suggesting the next size up, or by recommending two tablecloths: one for everyday use and another for when the leaf is in place.

What sizes and shapes do you carry?

We carry tablecloths in Round, Square, Oblong, and Oval, across a full range of sizes. See our size chart for the complete list, including which shapes are available for each size.

Fabric and Care

How do I treat a spill?

Treat it as soon as you can. Wine or water tends to sit on the surface rather than soak straight in, so blot it up right away. For sauce or oil, wipe it immediately, then follow up with a wet tissue to blot the spot. The next wash cycle usually takes care of the rest. Shout or Shout wipes work well for spot treatment in the meantime. On embroidered or cutwork areas, the same applies, just with a gentler touch and a bit more promptness.

How should I store my tablecloths?

If you've just treated a spill, let that area fully dry out before folding the tablecloth away. Packing it away while still damp is what leads to a musty smell later on. In general, keep tablecloths out of direct sunlight, both while drying and in storage.

What about the embroidered or cutwork tablecloths?

Our Special Events pieces feature embroidery or cutwork detail, stitched onto the microfiber/polyester or linen-look material, a nice choice for more formal entertaining. During production, the fabric itself is treated to help resist stains, though that treatment doesn't extend to the embroidery itself, so spills near cutwork or embroidered detail are worth a little extra care and a quicker wipe.

What about the Linen-look tablecloths?

Linen-look has a different feel and finish to it, made to give the appearance of real linen. It's machine washable, though some customers prefer to hand wash and wring it dry, which will mean more ironing afterward. Because of its finish, it's also sometimes given a light iron before heading out to a party, just for a crisp, presentable look.

What are your everyday tablecloths made from, and how do I care for them?

Our everyday line is microfiber/polyester: dip and dry, gentle cycle in both the washer and dryer. It stands up well straight out of the wash, so no ironing needed, aside from the first use, since they arrive wrapped from the factory. It's also the most durable option, so it's a good fit if you're entertaining often or have grandchildren around the table.

Do you carry anything besides table linens?

Yes, our own line of Curaçao t-shirts, made from Comfort Colors fabric.

Delft Blue

Visiting & Shipping

Do you ship?

Talk to us first, by email or WhatsApp, and we will discuss the different shipping options based on what you are looking for.

Where can I see everything in person?

Handelskade 3 in Punda, Willemstad, three to five minutes on foot from the Queen Emma Bridge. You can see us from the bridge as you cross: we are at street level, in the building below the Panerai name, opposite the café terraces. We're the last surviving linen shop of our kind on the island, with one of the largest selections you'll find anywhere on the island.
